Poetry Corner Friday: Green tea
I haven’t figured out
the secret
at the bottom of a mug
of green tea.
I only know that I am pacing
contemplating.
What could I do better
tomorrow? Am I
any stronger…
?
There will be winter storms
polar bears to wrestle
cold winds to fight off
with scarves and will power
and I’ll face them
when I
finish
drinking
